Design Goes to the Dogs in NYC!
July 12, 2012 § 1 Comment
Last night the New York Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) hosted a Dog House Design Competition at the New York School of Interior Design to benefit the Southhampton Animal Shelter. The designers, all members of ASID, donated their time, money and materials to these lavish canine domiciles so that the five winning homes could be auctioned off for the worthy cause.
The room was buzzing with socialites, students and designers ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing’ over the intricate creations and plush materials while adorable and frantic guest pooches itched to curl up in the luxurious nests just out of their paw’s reach.

Celebrity judge appearances certainly turned some heads! Cosmetics entrepreneur Prince Lorenzo Bhorgese and the 9th season star of the Bachelor and socialite/actress Tinsley Mortimer forgot to cheese for their close up.
